Broad St., Ellaville, died Monday, June 5, 1995, in the Columbus Medical Center. Funeral service(s) are planned for 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, 1995, in the Ellaville United Methodist Church with Revs. Mike Benson, Ellison Whitt and Asbury Walton officiating. Burial will follow in the Ellaville Cemetery. Miss Hill was born Oct. 31, 1924 in Taylor County and was the daughter of Jim Henry Hill and Lounie Mitchell Hill. She had lived in Schley County most of her life, was a member of Tazewell Methodist Church and was a former employee of Manhattan Shirt Company in Americus. Survivors include a sister Miss Sara Hill, of Ellaville; also several cousins. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. today. Pallbearers will include Tom Layfield, Tommy Layfield, Joey Wells, Vernon Dillard, Harold Sapp and Hubert King. Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville has charge of arrangements.
