Hill, 72, Dies Friday Mrs. R.E. Hill, 72, prominent and beloved Ellaville woman, died at her home here shortly after noon Friday afternoon after a long ilness. Funeral Services were conducted from the residence Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock with Rev. Roy J. Bond officiating. Burial was in Ellaville cemtery. Born in Taylor county, she was Miss Viola Turner, the daughter of Aretus and Martha Joiner Turner. Fifty two years ago she was married to Mr. Robert E. Hill and came to Schley county to make her home. Mr. Hill died June 30, 1937. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church at Butler. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Paul Coffin (Marguerite Hill); one granddaughter, Jane Hill, of Ellaville; two grandsons, Sgt. Robert Byron Hill, U.S. Army, and Robert Hill, Ellaville. Pallbearers were C.C. Williamson, B.E. Pelham, E.C. Rigsby, S.T. Barnes, John R. Wall, T.H. Stephens and W.L. Hayes.
