25 YEARS AGO (1917)
William B. Johnson died at his home near Ellaville Friday night, May 24, after 
an illness of measles and pneumonia.  Burial was in Ellaville cemetery.  
Survivors include the following daughters and suns, Mesdames J.E. Lumpkin, 
Martin Chapman, W.J. Jones and Miss Eva Johnson, all of Schley county; 
William, Climax, Ga.; Ben, Atlanta; Cliff, C.T., H.H., Lester and Raymond, all 
of Schley county. (Transcriber's note:  according to his marker at Ellaville 
cemetery, Mr. Johnson was 56 years old at his death.)
