JORDAN Mr. J.R. Jordan, well-known retired farmer of Andrew Chapel community, died at his home Wednesday morning at 4 o'clock. He was 82. Funeral services will be conducted at Hopewell Methodist church this afternoon (Friday) at three o'clock, war time. The Rev. Roy J. Bond, will officiate. Survivors include his widow; three sons, C.T., Ellaville; J.F., Fort Valley, and W.M., of Sumter; three daughters, Mrs. R.N. McMickle, Moultrie; Mrs. B.L. Snider, Americus; and Mrs. Viola Phillips, Lansing, Mich.; 25 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be L.R. Mott, Ernest Tidwell, S. Lawhorn, M.M. Wellons, T.L. Arnold, W.F.
