DEATH OF AGED CITIZEN

On yesterday, Mr. William Jordan and aged and well
known citizen died at his home near Shiloh church.
Mr. Jordan had been a citizen of Schley county
nearly all his life, and was widely known throughout
this section of the country.  He was a consistent
member of the Methodist church for more than half a
century.  Funeral services were conducted from the
Methodist church, here, today by Revs. L.A. Hill and
R.F. Williamson.  His remains were interred in the
Ellaville cemetery.
