JAMES KELLEY PASSES MONDAY
Former Tax Collector Of Schley Succumbs
Funeral services for James Kelley, 82, former tax collector of Schley county, 
were conducted from County Line Baptist church Tuesday with the Rev. C.D. 
Carter of Ellaville officiating.  Mr. Kelley died Monday at 11:45 o'clock.  He 
had been in ill health for several years.  A well-known farmer, Mr. Kelley was 
a native of Schley county and was tax collector for many years.  He was a 
member of County Line Baptist church.  Surviving besides his widow (it appears 
a line of print may have been omitted here) Mathews of Buena Vista and Mrs. 
Earl terry of Schley county; two sons, Earnest and Russell Kelley, both of 
Schley county.  Pallbearers were Wesley Wall, Nathan Stephens, Oscar Usry, 
Edgar Wall, S.V. Stephens and J.L.B. Usry.

Additional Comments:
Born 1857.  Married Sallie K. Bridges 12 Sep 1890.  She is also buried at 
County Line Baptist.  Died 1958.
