OSCAR LARKIN Final tribute was paid W. Oscar Larkin, 58, well-known Schley county storekeeper and farmer, at funeral services conducted at Lutheran church in Marion county Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. Mr. Larkin died of a heart attack Tuesday morning about 2 o'clock at his home just across (the) Macon county line on Oglethorpe highway. The Rev. S.A. Douthit officiated, and burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Larkin was the son of James J. Larkin, who died in 1923, and Mrs. Susie Larkin, now 86 years of age, who resides in Lowe community. He married Miss Annie Ellis. They had spent their entire married life in Schley county and Lowe community of Macon county. Surviving besides his widow and mother, are one daughter, Mrs. Lewis Waldrep, Columbus; three sons, Curtis, James and Robert Larkin, all of Schley county; five sisters, Mrs. Bob Robinson, Mrs. George Robinson and Miss Willa Larkin, all of Lowe community. Pallbearers were Russell and Charlie Larkin, Ernest, Henry, Howard and Elton Robinson.
