DR. J.S.LIGHTNER
ELLAVILLE, April 23--Dr. J.S. Lightner, aged 45, died at his residence in 
Ellaville at 6 o'clock this morning, having suffered a relapse from 
influenza.  Surviving him are his wife and four small children; his mother, 
Mrs. E. Lightner; Mrs. J.W. Nelson, Miss Morris Lightner, of Ideal, Ga., Mrs. 
L.B. Brooks, of Americus; Dr. H.T. Lightner, of Atlanta; Dr. J.T. Lightner, of 
Columbus; Dr. J.L. Lightner of Ideal.  Dr. Lightner was one of the most 
popular citizens of the county, a Mason and K.of P.  Funeral arrangements will 
be announced later.
