The Marietta Journal, Thursday, Sept. 27, 1883

.....Died. -- Mr. Willis Little, father of Mrs. W.P. Stephens of this place, 
died at his home in Poindexter, Schley county, Ga., on the 24th inst. At the 
time of his death he was postmaster of Poindexter. He was a man of prominence 
and influence and had represented that county in the Legislature. He was for 
years a consistent member of the Methodist Church, and his loss will be deeply 
felt in the community where he was known and esteemed. Mrs. Stephens has our 
sympathy in the loss of so excellent a father.

Additional Comments:
Willis Little was married to Nancy Oxford on 4 Aug 1835 in Jones County, Ga. 
Nancy's father was Rev. Tillman Davis Oxford who died on 9 March 1870 in Pike 
County, Georgia.
