The Journal
Margaret Estelle Lurwig, 97, of Canton, GA, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 
2013, at Cameron hall assisted Living.  Funeral services were scheduled for 2 
p.m., Saturday, February 9, at the Canton First United methodist Church.  
Interment was held in the Ellaville City cemetery in Ellaville, GA, at 2 p.m. 
on Sunday, february 10.  The family received friends on Friday, February 8 
from 4 to 8 p.m. at darby Funeral home in canton, GA.

Survivors include four daughters, Jane A. Lurwig, Atlanta; Joy A. Lurwig, 
Atlanta; Kay New, Canton; Linda Lurwig, Decateur; one grandson, David New, 
Johns Creek; and two great-grandchildren.  Mrs. Lurwig was preceded in death 
by her husband, Oscar R. Lurwig; her parents, Stephen "Tebe" Etheredge and 
Ethel Adele Edge; her brother, Enwood; and sisters, Adele Jones, Mauree 
Sirbaug, and Avolene Eyster.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canton First United Methodist 
Church, 920 Lower Scott Mill Rd., Canton, GA 30114.

The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
