MCGEHEE Funeral services for J.A. McGeHee, 81, who died Monday morning after a long illness, were conducted from the residence Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock. The Rev. W.S. Johnson conducted the rites and was assisted by the Rev. Albert S. Trulock, pastor of St. Luke Methodist Church of Columbus for in Riverside cemetery. A native of Harris county, Mr. McGehee was the son of Jacob O. McGehee and Juliette Mays McGehee. He was engaged in the produce business at Dallas, Texas, and Shreveport, La., for 30 years. Moving here Christmas, 1930, he had made his home with his sister, Mrs. W.M. Williams, since that time. Survivors besides his sister, include two nieces, Mrs. Graffton Kimbrough and Mrs. Walter Byrd, both of Columbus, and one nephew, G.O. McPhail, of Henderson, N.C., and several grand nieces. Pallbearers were C.C. Williamson, C.M. Williams, C.C. McNeal, Jr., Wesley Driver, W.T. Tondee and the Rev. J.C. Daniel.
