McGlaun, was held Tuesday afternoon in the family residence. Interment followed in Eastview cemetery. The Rev. Roy McTier of Waynesboro, former pastor of the Shellman Methodist church was in charge of the services assisted by the Rev. W.J. Self, local pastor. Pallbearers were fellow instructors of Graham Aviation School, Americus, Woodrow Cone, William Cox, Lewis Wright, Lewis Hemmer, Guy Tomberlin and Bob Arrington. Warren McGlaun, civilian instructor, and British Cadet Maurice Hislop, were killed instantly when their U.S. Army plane crashed Monday three miles southeast of Ellaville. McGlaun, 24, has been employed as an instructor for several months. Prior to his entry into aviation he was manager of the Athens office of the Retail Credit Company. Besides his parents he is survived by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A.W. McGlaun, of Cusseta and Mr. and Mrs. C.F. Ebbert, Wilmont, Ohio, and a number of aunts and uncles.
