Murray, about sixty years of age, died Sunday night at 7:30 o’clock at her home at Ellaville, following an illness of about a week, although she had not been in the best of health for some time. The deceased was a faithful member of the Methodist church at Ellaville, and her life had been marked by her kindness and love for all with whom she came in contact. Besides her husband, Mrs. Murray is survived by two step-sons, Arthur Murray and Grady Murray, of Ellaville; two sisters, Mrs. P.H. Williams, of Americus, and Mrs. Jasper Murray of Oglethorpe, and one brother, Robert Howe, of Sumter County. The funeral was held Monday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock, at Ellaville, with Rev. George Walker officiating and with the interment following in Ellaville cemetery. Many friends and relatives join in deepest sympathy at the death of Mrs. Murray.
