MYRICK, 63 Schley Farmer Dies Unexpectedly Funeral services for Oscar C. Myrick, 63, well known Schley County farmer of Hopewell community, were conducted from Hopewell Methodist Church Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock with the Rev. R.C. Howard of Ellaville officiating. Mr. Myrick died unexpectedly Saturday morning at 7:30 o'clock. A nstive of Schley County, Mr. Myrick lived in the county his entire life with the exception of several years spent in Columbus. He was a member of Hopewell Methodist Church. His wife, who died several years ago was the former Miss Lucia Kleckley of Oglethorpe. Surviving besides his widow are two daughters, Mrs. Ed Woods of Columbus and Mrs. Henry Hudson of Phenix City, Ala.; five sons, Luther, Cecil, and Joel Myrick, all of Phenix City, Ala.; Henry Myrick of Macon Countyu and Allen Myrick of Schley County; two brothers, O.W. and O.P. Myrick of Schley County and a sister, Mrs. Katherine Jenkins of near Columbus. Burial was in Hopewell Cemetery.
