J.N. CHENEY OF ELLAVILLE, was found dead in his bed at 116 Highland Avenue yesterday morning. He was in the city for treatment. He had been afflicted with Bright's disease for some time. Dr. Cheney was 60 years of age, and was a prominent man in this section. At the time of his death, he was a county commissioner of Schley county, and he had also held other offices of trust. His wife, who survives him, is a a sister of Assistant City Clerk Joseph Foster, Mrs. George Price and Mrs. Charles Lewis.
