Death came after a brief illness caused by an automobile accident about three weeks ago, when Miss Tondee, with a party of friends, were returning to Coney, where she was teaching music, from the state fair at Macon. Two automobiles had a collision and Miss Tondee’s head struck the windshield. The wound was not considered serious until last Thursday when it began swelling and the doctors advised her to come home. Here she was given every attention that skilled and loving hands could render, but blood poison set in and she died Tuesday night about 10 o’clock.
