PERRY, ARTHUR WILLIE
Mr. Perry was born April 12, 1937 in Schley County, GA, son of Albert and 
Willie Shelton Perry.  He was a member of Mt Zion Baptist Church, received his 
education from public schools in Schley County.  He moved to Miami, FL then To 
Jacksonville, FL and married Miss Margaret Nolon.  About 1974 they moved to 
New York and he joined Nimorod Masonic Lodge #94 in Poughkeepsie.  Mr. Perry 
died Saturday, November 12, 1983 after a brief illness.  Funeral services were 
held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 1983 at Mt Zion Baptist Church in 
Ellaville, GA; Reverend W C Black officiated.  Pallbearers were his brothers 
and nephews. Burial in Mt Zion Baptist Church Cemetery
Survivors include his wife, 4 brothers, Simmie H Perry of Daytona Beach, FL, 
Abert Perry, J., of Jacksonville, FL, Phillip (Mary) Perry and Freddie B 
Perry, of Ellaville, GA; 2 sisters, Mrs. Annie B Howard and Mrs. Minnie L. 
Glass of Americus, GA; 5 sisters-in-law, Mrs. Alma Perry, Mrs. Anna Perry, 
Mrs. Josephine Perry, Mrs. Mary Perry, Mrs. Gloria Gaskin and former sister-in-
law, Mrs. Lavera Perry; 2 brothers-in-law, George Gaskin and Ossie Glass; 
aunts and uncles, Mrs. Sallie B Williamson, Mrs. Bessie Cochran, Willie Lewis 
Perry, John Henry Beal and Eugene King, all of Ellaville, GA and Ben Williams 
of Daytona Beach, FL, nieces, nephews and cousins.
