Mr. Pilcher was born in Schley county December 10, 1895, and was the son of T.R. Pilcher and Mrs. Lula Barnes Pilcher. He had lived in Macon for 29 years and had been employed for the past several years by the Taylor Iron Works. Funeral services were conducted from Hart's Mortuary there Thursday morning at 10 o'clock with the Rev. A.C. Baker and the Rev. F.B. Brooks officiating. Burial was in Macon Memorial Park there. Surviving are his widow, the former Miss Elizabeth White of Macon; three sons and a daughter, Julian, Alton and Lane Pilcher, and Miss Evelyn Elizabeth Pilcher of Macon; seven sisters, Mrs. J.R. Kemp, Statesboro; Mrs. W.A. Johnson, Monroe, Mich.; Mrs. J.D. Hutto, Miss Ruth Pilcher, Mrs. Helen Tyler, Mrs. Elizabeth Ammons and Miss Sybil Pilcher, Ellaville; four brothers, B.B. Pilcher, Philadelphia, Pa.; Louis Tillman and Howard Pilcher, Ellaville.
