The Schley County News  Friday, July 2, 1909  
DEATH OF MR. PILCHER Mr.T.J. Pilcher, after an
illness covering several months, died at his home,
near Ellaville, on last Monday night.  Mr. Pilcher
was 60 years old at the time of his death and had
lived in Schley county all of his life, where he has
ever been held in high esteem by all.  Aside from
his immediate family, his wife and five sons, he is
survived by many other relatives in the county.  The
funeral and burial services were held at the grave,
conducted by Rev. C.A. Norton, in the Ellaville
cemetery.
