REEVES, WEST JACKSON
Mr. Reeves was born September 28, 1902 in Sandersville, GA., son of Mr. & Mrs. 
Sam Reeves.   He was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Sandersville 
and married his wife Lillian.  He died the morning of December 15, 1984.  
Funeral services wer held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 23, 1984 at Cedar 
Creek Baptist Church in Ellaville, GA.  Reverend R B Bailey, Pastor, 
officiated.  Burial in Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.  Survivors include 
4 daughters: Mrs. Drewcilla Brown of Vienna, GA, Mrs. Cora Mae Terry of 
Youngstown, OH, Mrs. Mary E Brooks of Akron, OH and Mrs. Annie Julia Brown of 
Buena Vista, GA; 5 sons, Mr. Matthew Reeves of Tennessee, Mr. Mark Reeves of 
Atlanta, GA, Mr. Sammy Lee Reeves of Sandersville, GA, Mr. Morris Reeves and 
Mr. Theordis Reeves of Ellaville, GA; Two sisters, Mrs. Dollie Adams of Fort 
Lauderdale, FL and Mrs. Willie Miller of Sandersville, GA, 4 sons-in-law: Mr. 
Clyde Brown of Vienna, GA, Mr. Melvin Terry of Youngstown, OH, Mr. Lewis 
Brooks of Akron, OH, and Mr. Jessie James Brown of Buena Vista, GA; 4 
daughters-in-law, Mrs. Josephine Reeves of Butler, GA, Mrs. Geraldine Reeves 
of Ellaville, GA, Mrs. Hattie Mae Tucker of Columbus, GA and Mrs. Annie Joel 
Tucker of Atlanta, GA; a brother-in-law, Mr. Charlie Kelsey of Miami, FL; 
sisters-in-law, Mrs. Mary Mobley of Jacksonville, FL and Mrs. Willie Mae 
Jackson of Wadley, GA; an aunt: Mrs. Matilda Wright of Sandersville, GA, 60 
grandchildren, 65 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
