WARREN REID DIES; FUNERAL HERE TODAY Mr. Warren Reid, well-known retired Schley County farmer, died Thursday at 12 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Wallace Childers, in Griffin. Funeral services will be held at Ellaville Baptist church sometime today (Friday), but the hour had not been announced Thursday afternoon. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Reid, pioneer Schley countians and would have reached his 82nd birthday on April 17. He was a member of the Baptist church. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Lester Dykes, Andersonville; Mrs. Council Bass, Americus; Mrs. Minnie Blythe, Junction City, Ga.; Mrs. Lewis Wall, Thomasville; three sons, Jody, of Schley county; Allen of Atlanta, and John Ropert (Robert?), of South Carolina; two sisters, Mrs. T.J. Royal, of Ellaville, and Mrs. E.H. Wall, of Schley county. Additional Comments: Warren Lanier Reid is buried at Ellaville cemetery.
