ROBINSON DIES MONDAY Funeral services were held at Ellaville Methodist church Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock for Mr. Arin Robinson, 83, well-known retired merchant who died early Monday afternoon of a lingering illness. The Rev. W.S. Johnson officiated, and was assisted by the Rev. Hugh Dozier. Burial was in the local cemetery. Born in Gasden (Gadsden) county, Fla., January 4, 1857, Mr. Robinson was left an orphan at eight when both his parents died within six weeks. His mother passed away while his father, a Confederate soldier, was home on furlough, and his father died six weeks later after returning to the army. Mr. Robinson moved to Sumter county as a youth and farmed there for many years. He came to Ellaville about 15 years ago to operate a grocery store. Ill health forced his retirement six years ago. His wife, who died in November, 1937, was the former Miss Malinda Speer, of Florida. Survivors include two sons, J.H. Robinson, Ellaville; A.Forrest Robinson, Alpine, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Hugh Mills, Albany; Mrs. Troy G. Morrow, Ellaville. Pallbearers were James H.
