Barnum Funeral Homel April 1979
Funeral services for Mr. Sims of Route 2, Plains, GA, who died April 21, 1979 
at Talmadge Memorial Hospital in Augusta, GA will be held Saturday April 26, 
1979 from the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Plains, GA at 3 p.m., Reverend Leon 
Pace officiating.  Burial in the church cemetery.    Survivors include his 
wife, Mrs. Anthony Mae Sims of Plains, GA; 5 daughters, Mrs. Lorene Lassister, 
Mrs. Earlene Lassister, Effie Mae Sims, Theresa Sims and Eva Mae Sims, all of 
Plains, GA; 4 sons, Nelson Sims, Jessie Sims and George Sims of Plains, GA and 
Alvin Clinkscales of Smithville, GA; his father, Thomas Woods of Butler, GA; 2 
brothers, L. C. Sims of Plains, GA and J. C. Sims of Americus, GA; grandmother 
Mrs. Emma Sims of Plains, GA.
