West’s Mortuary; November 1995
Mr. Sims, 53, of 653-C Small Pierce Road, Plains, GA, died Nover 21, 1995 at 
Sumter Regional Hospital in Americus, GA.  Funeral services will be held at 11 
a.m., Saturday, November 25, 1995 at the Bethlehem Baptist Church, Plains, GA, 
Reverend Leon Pace officiating.  Burial in the church cemetery.  Survivors 
include his wife, Mrs. Gloria Sims of Smithville, GA, brothers and sisters, J. 
C. (Mary) Sims of Americus, GA, Eddie Burns and James Burns of Miami, FL, 
Henry Burns of Columbus, GA, Johnny Burns of Plains, GA, Lizzie Crumbley and 
Mae Lizzie Evans of Plains, GA, Mary Crumbley and Lillie Harris of Dawson, GA 
and Gloria Whittsley of Alabama; aunt and uncle Joseph (Bessie) Sims of 
Philadelphia, PA.
