Irma Smith Singleton October 28, 1933- March 1, 2007 BUENA VISTA, GA— Irma 
Smith Singleton, 73, of Buena Vista, GA. died Thursday, March 1, 2007 at her 
home. The funeral services will be held Saturday, March 3, 2007 at 11 a.m. at 
Union United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Edwards officiating. Interment will 
follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lucas Singleton, Ben 
Singleton, Dan Singleton, Jason Brown, Joey Heath and Greg Smith. Honorary 
pallbearers will be Beau Singleton, Todd Smith, Kim Welch, Joey Wells, Ronnie 
Singleton, Cole Jernigan, Mickey Welch and Bobby Lawhorne. The family will 
receive friends at Tante Funeral Home in Buena Vista Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. 
Mrs. Singleton was born October 28, 1933 in Ellaville, GA., the daughter of the 
late Daniel and Julia Mae Lawhorne Smith. She was the widow of Bennie L. 
Singleton after 45 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by a 
daughter, Debbie Singleton and a brother, Boyette Smith. Mrs. Singleton had 
lived in Marion County all her life and had been a member of Union United 
Methodist Church since her childhood. She was a devoted and loving mother and 
grandmother who spent her life caring for her children and grandchildren. She 
will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include sons, 
Danny Singleton and wife Angie, Ricky Singleton and wife Robin and Ken 
Singleton and wife Lehanne, all of Buena Vista; a sister, Jeanne Jernigan and 
husband Bob of Buena Vista; and grandchildren, Dan Singleton, Ashlei Brown and 
husband Jason, Ben Singleton, Lucas Singleton, Beau Singleton, all of Buena 
Vista, and Carrollyn Heath and husband Joey of Tampa, FL. Tante Funeral Home is 
in charge of arrangements
