10 YEARS AGO (1932)
Funeral services were held at Ellaville Methodist church July 8 for George 
Rueben Slappey, 21, who died at the home of his mother Mrs. Stella Slappey 
(nee Tison), in Americus, of a short illness of acute Bright's disease and 
high blood pressure.  (Transcriber's note:  Wikipedia defines Bright's disease 
as follows:  Bright's disease is a historical classification of kidney 
diseases that would be described in modern medicine as acute or chronic 
nephritis.)
