Ebenezer Baptist Church minutes, June 9, 1900
Resolutions upon the death of Sister Snider
Our beloved sister departed this life on the 23rd day of March, 1900, at the 
age of forty-five.  The spirit of sister Mattie Snider took its flight from 
its earthly abode.  She was baptized into the Baptist church at Ebenezer, 
Schley Co. by Bro. W.F. Duncan and lived a consecrated life.  She was a 
devoted wife.  She leaves a husband, two sons, one daughter, one sister and 
three brothers.  She said do not grieve after me.  I will be better off, and 
she fell asleep.
