STANDRIDGE, 83 Funeral services for Mrs. S.S. Standridge, 83, former Taylor county citizen and mother of Mr. George Standridge of Ellaville, were conducted at Mount Nebo church near Charing Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Mrs. Standridge died Thursday morning at 3 o'clock at Williston, Fla. where she has lived since last December. The Rev. F.J. Gilbert of Butler officiated and burial was in Bloodworth cemetery. A native of Pickens county, S.C., she spent most of her life in Taylor county. Her husband died several years ago. Mrs. Standridge was a member of Ideal Methodist church. Survivors include five sons, George Standridge, Ellaville; J.O. Standridge, Williston, Fla., J.C. Standridge, Otter Creek, Fla.; J.V. Standridge, Dooling; W.F. Standridge, Butler; one daughter, Mrs. Sallie Durham, Pickens county, S.C. Pallbearers were Willard, Will E., Robert, James, Sam and J.P. Standridge. Additional Comments: The date of death of Mrs. Standridge is this obit conflicts with her marker, don't know which is correct. Mt.
