NATIVE OF SCHLEY PASSES IN ALBANY
Mrs. R(obert) L. Stewart of Sylvester, 70, a native Schley countian, who died 
Friday at an Albany hospital, was buried in Friendship cemetery Sunday 
afternoon after funeral services earlier in the day at Albany Undertaking Co.  
The Rev. E.L. Baskin, pastor of Sylvester Baptist church, officiated at the 
funeral.  The former Miss Meta Smith, she and Mr. Stewart were married January 
5, 1894.  Surviving besides her husband are three children, J.D. Stewart, 
Atlanta, Lawson Stewart, Sylvester, and Mrs. Troutman, Lumpkin, Ga.; four 
brothers, Pat and Sam Smith, and Frasier Sims, all of Bronwood; Reese Smith, 
Plains.
