Mrs. W.H. Stephens
Mrs. W.H. Stephens, aged fifty years, died at her home, 806
Broadway, (Macon, GA) Saturaday afternoon at 6 o'clock.
Mrs. Stephens was strickened suddenly with apoplexy and
died almost instantly, she was born in Schley county and
was a member of the methodist church. She leaves, besides
her husband, five sons and three daughters, W.A., O.E.,
W.E., Frank and Cecil Stephens, Mrs. L.M. Welch and Misses
Polly and Lottie Stephens. The funeral services will be
held form the residence this morning at 11 o'clock. The
Rev. J.P. Wardlaw, of the the First Street Methodist
church, will officiate. The interment will be made in
Evergreen Cemetery.



Mrs. W.H. Stephens was Georgia Virginia DeVane before
marriage. She was the daughter of Francis Marion and Polly
Ann Wall Devane. She was born October 4, 1869 and died June
21, 1919. He husband worked for the railroad.
