Post Script from the Phillippi Primitive Baptist Church Minutes dated May 1, 
1954.

Henry Irvin Tid died Friday A.M. 7 o'clock on the morning of May 7, 1954.  He 
was chosen Clerk of Phillipi Church June 1, 1948, in which capacity he served, 
when he was able, until his death.  He was a good husband and a wonderful 
father and he has left us so alone, but we hope to meet in that Heavenly Land 
when there will be no sickness, death or sad goodbyes.
