AMERICUS, Ga., March 4.--Bradley Teel, 94 years of age, and for many years coroner of Schley county, died yesterday at his home in Ellaville of injuries sustained in a slight fall several days ago. Following the injury, Teel developed pneumonia, which was the direct cause of his death. He is survived by three sons, Charlie Teel of Schley county, Bob Teel of Wells Mills, and Will Teel of South Georgia, and two daughters, Mrs. Jessie McLendon and Mrs. Newton Eubanks, both of Schley county, all of whom attended the burial service conducted by Rev. Marvin Vincent at Ellaville today, with interment at Ellaville in Ellaville cemetery. The dead man was a veteran of the War between the states and a member of Camp Sumter No. 443, U.C.V. of Americus. A number of his comrades went from here to attend the funeral services. Additional Comments: Brad Teel was a member of Co. A, 12th Ga. Infantry. He enlisted June 1861 at Americus and served until the end of the war. His pension application can be viewed in the Schley Co.
