TERRY, CORA MAE REEVES
Mrs. Terry was born December 9, 1932 in Ellaville, Schley County, GA, daughter 
of West Jackson Reeves and Lillian Kelsey. She was a member of Cedar Creek 
Baptist Church in Ellaville and moved to Akron, OH for 23 years, In 1954 she 
married to Melvin Terry Sr.  In May of 1984 she joined the Antioch Baptist 
Church.  She had one son to precede her in death, Michael Ronell Terry.  She 
died Friday, July 10, 1987 at Northside Hospital in Youngstown, OH after a 
short illness.  Funeral services were held at 1:30, Monday, July 20, 1987 in 
Akron, OH. Pastor Reverend J Wayman Butts officiated.  Pallbearers were 
Charles Brown, Stacey Brown, Lee Edward Brown, James Westley Tucker, Willie 
Brown and Emanuel Tucker.  Burial in Mt Peace Cemetery.  She is survived by 
her husband, sons Melvin Terry, Jr., Danney Terry, and Joe Allen Terry; 
daughters, Rebecca (David) McKinnie, Christine Terry, Victoria Terry and 
Teresa Terry, mother-in-law, Leomia Snipes.  Brothers, Sammie Lee (Rosalee) 
Reeves, Theordia (Josephine) Reeves, Morris Lee (Geraldine) Reeves, Sisters: 
Annie Julie (Jesse James) Brown, Mary Elizabeth (Lewis Jr.,) Brooks, Mildred 
(Johnnie) Upshaw, Drewcilla (Clyde) Brown; aunts, Mary Mabley of Jacksonville, 
FL, Willie Mae Jackson of Wadley, GA, Uncle Charley Kelsey of Miami, FL; 
brothers in law Lynn Raymond and Curtis Snipes; 21 grandchildren, nieces, 
nephews, and cousins
