Mrs. Ruth Tuning, 93, of Ellaville, died Thursday, December 24, 1998 in Sumter 
Regional Hospital in Americus.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date in Riverside Memorial Park, 
Tequesta, FL.

Mrs. Tuning was born November 21, 1905 in Mt. Braddock, PA, and was the 
daughter of the late Frank M. Holland and Sarah Johnson Holland.  She was a 
former sales clerk with the F.W. Woolworth Company, had been a member of the 
Ideal Sewing Club in Morgantown, W. Va., and was a charter member of the 
Jupiter/Tequesta Methodist Church in Jupiter, FL.

Survivgfors include a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Jarvis of Ellaville; three sons, 
Randolph Tuning of Ellaville, James Tuning of Stewart, FL and Arch F. Tuning, 
Jr. of Jupiter, FL; 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great-
great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Arch F. Tuning, 
Sr., also by three brothers and two sisters.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity.

Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville has charge of arrangements.
