The Schley County News  Thursday, April 11th, 1895  
Mrs. Fanny Stewart Turner of the Plains, while burning off her garden last 
week was horribly burned, and died in a few hours.  Mrs. Turner formerly lived 
in Schley County and was related to some of our best families.
