Mrs. thelma Geraldine Riley Usry, age 73, of Rt. 2, Box 41C, Ellaville, Ga. 
died uesday, February 3, 2004 at Hospice of LaGrange, funeral services were 
held Friday, February 6 at 11 a.m. at Concord Methodist Church with burial to 
follow in Ellaville Cemetery, reverend Mark Carter officiciated.

Mrs. Usry was born June 6, 1930 in Sumter County, the daughter of the late 
Samuel and Thelma Riley of Americus, Ga.  She was a member of Concord United 
Methodist Church, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Disabled American 
Veterans Auxiliary.  Mrs. Usry was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. 
Lester Harold Usry and one sister, Betty J. Dillard.

Survivors includwe three sisters and one brother in law:  Darlene Weathers of 
LaGrange, Ga., Clair and Donnie Drew of Commerce, Ga., and Era Bell of 
Titusville, FL.  She was loved and is also survived by a number of nieces and 
nephews.

Mrs. Usry is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law:  Marvin E. and 
Peggy Usry, Bobby and Laverne Usry, Brenda and Dan Todd, Mildred Dobbs, jean 
Hancock, and Catherine Thomas.

Pallbearers were Hal Usry, Bob Usry, Shane Alligood, Todd Bell, Scooter 
Weathers, Jason Lord, and Randy Hall.

Visitation was held Thursday, February 5, from 7 until 9 p.m. at Watson-
Giddens Funeral Home.
