(VAN) ARSDALE DIES MONDAY Funeral services were held at Ellaville Methodist church Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock for Mrs. Fred H. Van Arsdale, 71, well-known Ellaville woman, who died early Monday morning after a long period of failing health. She had been critically ill for two weeks. The Rev. W.S. Johnson officiated at the funeral and burial was in the local cemetery. Born in New York state November 22, 1862, she spent most of her life in that state. After the death of her first husband, she was married to Mr. Van Arsdale, may 15, 1915. They moved to Ellaville in September 1933 and had lived here since that time. Although her activities were limited because of poor health, she made many friends who are grieved by her passing. She was a member of the Methodist church. Surviving besides her husband include a daughter, Mrs. A.W. Livingston of Schley county; Mrs. Zell G. Porter, Auburn, N.Y.; R.Manly Porter, Birmingham, Ala., and a niece, Mrs. Charles Munson, of Chicago, Ill. Pallbearers were W.T. Tondee, Joihn R. Wall, James H. Hart, J.L. Duncan, Wilson Tondee and Harry Murray.
