The Schley County News Thursday, September 19th 1895 
FOUND DEAD IN BED
Miss Effie Walker, a maiden lady living near LaCrosse, was found dead in bed 
Wednesday morning. She retired in her usual health and it is supposed that 
death resulted from heart disease.
