Wall, 84, well-known pioneer Schley county citizen, at his home near here Saturday. Mr. Wall, as was reported in last week's Sun, died about 12:30 o'clock last Thursday after a serious illness of two weeks which had been proceeded by a long period of feeble health. Services were conducted by the Rev. Charles D. Carter, assisted by the Rev. W.S. Johnson. Burial was in Ellaville cemetery. Sons and grandsons served as pallbearers. They were Reid Wall, Don Wall, J.R. Stewart, Roy Wall, Pete Peterson and Fred Wintrele. A son of Mr. and Mrs. John Wall (w)as born in what is now Schley county in 1855. He married Miss Joanna Reid. Always a resident of his native county, Mr. Wall lived his entire married life at the home where he died. A successful farmer before advanced age forced his retirement, he had many friends. Surviving besides his widow are eight children: Roy Wall, Cocoa, Fla.; Reid Wall, Dover, Fla.; Mrs. Jake Bodow, Frostproof, Fla.; Mrs. Pete Peterson, Tampa, Fla.; Mrs. Clarence Tanner, Tampa, Fla.; Mrs. F.S. Winterle, Tallahassee, Fla.; Miss Josephine Wall and Don Wall, both of Schley county. (Transcriber's note: Schley census indicates this is probably Eudona/Eudonia Wall.)
