WILCHER, RUBIN
Mr. Wilcher was born October 12, 1903 in Ellaville, Schley County, GA, son of 
Saul and Miranda Terry Wilcher.  He was a member of the Galilee Primitive 
Baptist Church of Ellaville, GA.  He married Florine G Banks and they had four 
children.
He died Thursday, October 17, 1985 at the Peach County Hospital in Fort 
Valley, GA.  
Funeral services were held at 2:00, Wednesday, October 23, 1985 at Galilee 
Primitive Baptist Church in Ellaville, GA; Elder James English officiated; 
burial in Cedar Creek Cemetery.  He was preceded in death by a son, Ernest 
David Wilcher (1937 - December 29, 1973) Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. 
Rosemary (James) Mathis of Butler, GA.  2 sons, Mr. Calvin (Sandy) Wilcher of 
Detroit, MI., Mr. Alton (Frances)  Wilcher of Butler, GA.; Two brothers: James 
Wilcher of Ellaville, GA, and Robert Wilcher of Trenton, NJ. One aunt, Mrs. 
Nunnie McCrary of Philadelphia, PA.  Four nephews, eight nieces, fourteen 
grandchildren, five great grandchildren,Charles W McDougald Funeral Home, 
Butler, GA 31006
