WILLIAMS DIES MONDAY Turner Williams, 50, retired farmer and member of one of the most prominent families in this section, died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock of a cerebral hemorrhage suffered at his home near Buena Vista. Funeral services were conducted from Buena Vista Methodist church Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock with the Rev. Allen Wall officiating. Burial was in Buena Vista cemetery. Born in Buena Vista in September 1889, Mr. Williams was the son of William Mathew and Arcada Rogers Williams. More than 25 years ago he married Miss Etta Lowe of Buena Vista. Lingering injuries received in an automobile accident had made him an invalid for the past 10 years. Prior to that time he was a successful farmer and took an active interest in civic affairs. He was a member of the Methodist church. Surviving besides his widow are three daughters, Miss Rosa Blue Williams, Americus; Linda Lee and Helena Williams, both of Buena Vista; three sons, Turner, Jr., Charlie Lowe and William Mathew Williams, all of Buena Vista; three sisters, Mrs. H.F. Dixon, Mrs. J.R. Jordan and Mrs. Martha English, all of Ellaville; and one brother S.Z. Williams of Youngstown, Ohio. Pallbearers were James Williams, Walker Williams, J.P. Hogg, Felton Clements, Burton Wight and Gray Wells.
