PNEUMONIA IS FATAL TO CHARLES WILLIS
Charles Earl Willis, 5-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Willis, died of a 
weeks illness of pneumonia at his home in LaCross community last Thursday.  
The Rev. Roy J. Bond officiated at funeral services conducted at Hopewell 
Methodist church cemetery.  Among the child's survivors are his parents; a 
sister, uncles, Despard Potter, Americus; Dewey Willis and Nolan Willis of 
Long Grove, Ky., and Drane Willis, LaCross; aunts, Mrs. J.L.B. Usry of Schley 
county; Mrs. Wesley Kenmore, Sumter county, and Mrs. Annie Mae Bell, Americus, 
and grandmother, Mrs. Ed Willis, New Era.
