FUNERAL HELD FOR LLOYD N. WITT, 42
Funeral services for Lloyd N. Witt, 42, husband of the former Mary Edgar Hart, 
of Ellaville, were conducted at Virginia Avenue Baptist church, Atlanta, 
Saturday morning and burial was at Oak Grove cemetery, Americus, that 
afternoon.  Mr. Witt died at Georgia Baptist Hospital, Atlanta, Friday at 9 
o'clock after an extended illness.  Mr. Witt was born in Americus and attended 
the local schools, and later was graduated from Mercer University, Macon.  
moving to Atlanta, he has held a position with the Southern Bell Telephone 
Company.  He is survived by his widow, three children, Marilyn, Edgar and 
Nancy Witt; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G.J. Witt, of Americus, and three 
brothers, Staff Sgt, Dudley Witt, of Ft. George Meade, Md.; Lt. E.K. Witt of 
Camp Crowder, Mo., and Joe Witt of Americus and Atlanta.
