Allowance-Dec. 1878.  (Husband--James Bivins, nee Maryland, fought in War of 
1812 while a  resident of Baldwin co., Ga.--Shanna English, Old Jail Museum
and Archives, Barnesville, Lamar Co. ojmuseum@yahoo.com  Martha Rice Bivins 
was Robert T. Bivins mother.   Her husband James, is buried in Culloden City 
cemetery, Monroe Co. James' father was Shadrack Bivins and mother Mildred Ward 
Bivins.  Martha's father was John Rice and mother Nancy.  Martha and James had 
7 children:  James H marr. Mary C. Walker, John W. never married, Robert T. 
marr Virginia Jane Tondee, Georgia Ann Bivins not married, Caroline married 
Robert T. Flewellen, Emeline marr Henry S. Cotton--Linda Snow Davis
