please find 40 cents in stamps, for 

which send me a quarter box of your

matchless steel pens, for I find that

they are not only outwrite, but outlast

any pen that I ever uses.  I am an

old book keeper, and a very old man,

as I was born in 1804, and have used 

a great many pens in my time.  This 

is the second box I have ordered, and

regret that I had not seen them sooner.

Additional Comments:
William Cleghorn apprently wrote the Randall Pensman Supply to order a supply 
of their pens that he was quite impressed with.  The letter behind the 
envelope contains his testimonial as to their quality.  The envelope is in 
wonderful condition. (additional comments by Harris Hill)
