HILL REUNION HELD SUNDAY AT HILL'S MILL
The annual Hill reunion was held at Hill's Mill in Schley County near Concord 
Church on Sunday, July 2.

Acovered dish dinner was served in the old mill house where it was cool and 
comfortable for the fellowship.

Those attending the reunion included Mrs. Joe Hogan, Mrs. Robert Malone and 
Hope and Chester Hill fo Texas; Mrs. Mary Ella Black and Dennis, Mrs. Mary 
Will Rye and Pat and Mr. and Mrs. Austin Hill, all of South Carolina; Mr. and 
Mrs. Leroy Miller and Ella, and Terry, Daniel Miller, Kevin Rogers, Sam Deck, 
of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Coward and Janie, Mr. and Mrs. 
Jack Coward, Kevin and Susan of Orlando, Fla.; Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Earl Hill 
and Dena of Manchester.

Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Morgan and Misses Brenda and Linda Hill of Talbotton, Mr. 
and Mrs. Butch Gleaton, Patty, Tommy and Bert, Mrs. Dixie (Dyxie) Gleaton, 
Mrs. Ozia (Ozzie) Standridge of Ellaville; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Woods, Mary and 
Danny Woods, Mary and Lisa, all of California.

Mr. and Mrs. Lynwood Hill of Florida, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Benson of Buena 
Vista; Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Parker of LaGrange; Mr. and Mrs. Theron Hill, 
Mrs. Charlie (Katie) Hill, Mr. and Mrs. Felton Edison, Angie, Danny and Keven 
Lewis, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Castead, Mrs. Ernice Dyer, Michael Hill Edison, all 
of Thomaston; Charlie and Evelyn Hill, Michael and Chris of Ellaville; Curtis 
Hill of Junction City; Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Hill, Chris and Beth of Marietta.

Additional Comments:
The newspaper clipping from Pat Malone speaks of the Hill family reunion held 
at the Lewis Hill mill at Concord.  The date and the name of the paper were 
cut off, but based on birth and death dates of individuals mentioned, that I 
have, I conclude that this reunion was held July 2, 1978.  The back of the 
clipping carries an ad for the 'grand opening" of what appears to be the 
Suwannee Store.  That store was located in Ellaville, so this is most probably 
from the Citizen-Patriot.
 
Possibly, it was the last reunion held.
