Eugene was extended to the limit before losing in the first round. After splitting the first two games, he lost the deciding match, 7-5. The champion and Vernon, top mibsters in The Sun's annual mibs program, joined Raymond Duncan in the trip, highlighted by a round of the sights in Georgia's capital city, including the Cyclorama at Grant's Park and a movie.
