Raymond Duncan, initial editor & owner of "The
Ellaville Sun, Georgia's Most Original Weekly", and
wife Elise Buchanan Duncan in period garb for the
Schley County Centenial celebration in 1957.


Miss Buchanan was a petite brunette and married
editor Duncan later in life.  "Elise was a very
sweet lady, and one of my favorite people. She
remarried to Harold Kingm who had children of a
previous marriage,lived and died in Atlanta after
Raymond's death."


Additional Comments:
Elise Buchanan and editor Duncan were married less
than a year after this photo was taken.  Thanks to
Martha Jane Weaver for her help with this
information.
