James Franklin Woods in his York Rite uniform.  Family legend has it that he 
very nearly got himself in trouble for having his picture made in this photo.  

born Sept. 7, 1840, Lancaster District, S.C.
died Feb. 14, 1910
burial Ellaville City cemetery.  Elected Schley Co. Sheriff in 1885.
