Concord, Lewis Hills Mill family reunion meal at Concord Methodist Church near Ellaville, Georgia. The church is just up the road from the Concord Lewis Hill's Mill. This photo shows the original Concord Methodist Church, as it looked prior to the present day concrete block church. The small baby girl in Poles lap is believed to be, Lala Sue Hill. She drowned in the well - spring at the Hill's Mill (Lewis Napoleons mill) near Charing Georgia, December 1946. If in fact, this is Lala Sue, her age in the picture helps to date it, since she was born June 11, 1945. Per Lala Sue's funeral book Pole was born in Butler, Ga. Sept. 6th 1872 and Lillie was born in Tazewell, Ga. Jan. 23rd, 1879, making their ages in the photo 73 and 67. This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.5 Kb
